Our workshops were most commonly known as Afternoon Workshops. They were offered in the afternoons throughout the semester. Most workshops were between the hours of 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM and were presented by an Instructional Technologist.<\/p>\n
I had the opportunity to present on the following topics for the Fall 2015 and Spring 2016 semesters and thereafter. Additionally, we offered Open Labs which took place during various times during the semester. This allows for any faculty member to stop by during a predetermined time frame and ask us any questions, whether it be related to Canvas or brainstorm a new technology that is of interest.<\/p>\n

We will also touch on the pros and cons as well as setting up and reviewing TurnItIn assignments and submissions from the student and instructor perspectives. \nGeneral Education Faculty, come attend this session to learn how students will submit documents for rFLA assessment. We will walk you through the process, share tips and resources that you can share with your students to ensure a smooth submission. In the second half of this session, we will demonstrate how you can have students use foliotek projects and presentation portfolios to document their learning. All are welcome to attend this workshop.<\/p>\n
